GYPSY PISTOLEROS

"We came, we saw and we found Rock Heaven!!" - Gypsy Pistoleros
"When I die I want 'Gone to Rocklahoma' on my headstone!" – Lee Pistolero

LILLIAN AXE

"We were added on the Thursday night at the last minute, so we didn’t have the luxury of much promotion. We drove straight from New Orleans, played, turned around and went back due to other show commitments. I was amazed how organized the event was, and how cool the crowd was when it came to the excitement level. This show and others like it should be taken to the masses, as Ozzfest and Lollapalooza. There is such an immense fan base for the great rock bands from the last 2 decades that this show can’t lose. Plus, there is a whole new legion of rock fans who are being deprived of the spirit of hard rock music. This is the way events should be handled. We were honored to perform, and we hope to be back."
- Steve Blaze

HOLLYWOOD ROSES

"On the day of the gig it was amazing. Kind of like a family reunion. There was a great camaraderie backstage"
- Colby Veil
"As we got ready to hit the stage all I could think about was my adrenaline and how I was not going to fly off the handle from my 10 cups of coffee and my tank being on E. As I looked into the audience and saw all the faces that were ready to throw down with me, my sticks were soon flying into the air and my shirt was off drenched in sweat by the 1st song."
- Matt Oloffson

KISS ARMY

"We’re just four very fortunate fans ourselves that were somehow lucky enough to end up on the same stage with many of our favorite 80s heavyweights sharing the spotlight and for KISS Army, performing at Rocklahoma was not only an honor, but a milestone in our 15 year history."
-Steve Clark

OFF BEAT ROAD

"It was awesome. The best four days of our lives. Thanks Dave."
- Tony Canali

ZENDOZER

"Rocklahoma was an incredible experience for Zendozer! We had so much fun over the course of four days and met so many incredible people from around the world. Friday night we played to the craziest kick ass audience we ever had!"
- Zendozer

GREG LEON INVASION

"It was like a huge family reunion for me, I saw people and bands, some that I had played with in the 80s; some I hadn’t seen since the 80s. One of the highlights of my life was getting to play the "National Anthem" for all those rock fans and getting the reaction that it got. It was the best festival I’ve ever been to and I feel proud to have been a part of it with my band the Greg Leon Invasion."
- Greg Leon

DIRTY PENNY

"I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday weekend if I tried, endless booze, girls, and bands that I love"
- Spanky Savage
"It was a dream come true to open up for the bands that inspired us to play music"
- Binge Daniels

WHITE LION

"Who would of thought that twenty years ago since the peak of the 80s and almost as many years after the business had written us all off, 40,000 rock fans would gather along with nearly every band who was part of the decade that many call the most entertaining time of rock’n’roll. There we all were checking each other out, slapping hi 5’s, seeing who still had the hair, who had lost it and who hadn’t changed at all. It was a true celebration and I am happy that I was there."
- - Mike Tramp

Y&T

"In our travels across the globe playing the great rock festivals throughout Europe, we’ve always wondered "Why not in America?." Finally someone with the balls to step forward made a great eventhappen with Rocklahoma and we’re proud Y&T was part of it. We only hope this type of festival will sprout many others. If not, we’ll take our memories of this event with us and chalk it up as another inthe short list of special rock shows. Besides the obvious cool vibe of playing for the rock fans that came from all over the map to enjoy this event, I especially loved the fact that this festival afforded us the opportunity of seeing so many of our fellow musician friends again. To share the energy in the stories of the past, present, and future, the love of the music, good times, and the friendship that keeps us all going. And above all I will never forget how Rocklahoma gave me the chance to once again see, talk, and share in a moment with an old acquaintance (Kevin DuBrow) before he tragically passed a few months later. For that alone I am truly grateful."
-Dave Meniketti

SLAUGHTER

"Rocklahoma was a total success. It was a great marriage of different bands coming together for four days. Rock-N-Roll is still alive - It brings you somewhere and makes you feel good. It was good to see the other band members."
- Timothy Diduro
"Better to perform and be heard than NOT be heard at an event such as this."
- Dana Strum
"Rocklahoma ...What a great event... Thousands of our closest friends. Celebrating the heritage of the music that makes us who we are! Cheers everybody..."
- Mark Slaughter

QUIET RIOT

"Both Kevin and I always had the mind set to make each and every show we did count from the moment we hit a stage until we stepped off the stage. Having said that, we both really looked forward to playing Rocklahoma because of the size and scope of the event centered around the music of our genre. Since I manage Quiet Riot and deal with the tactical aspects of touring, after just a few minor issues with logistics and back line equipment required, Rocklahoma was a great experience for Quiet Riot. It really was wonderful for us and the band sounded and performed great which was evident by the crowd response and Kevin was at the top of his game, he really was amazing that evening. It also gave us the opportunity to chat with a lot of our music friends some of which we hadn’t seen in years. Kevin and I looked forward to the possibility of returning for a second round of Rocklahoma but sadly that is not to be, due to his passing in November of 2007, may he rest in peace and may God Bless him. I extend my gratitude to the event promoters and organizers, but most of all to all the fans who attended and welcomed Quiet Riot with open arms."
- Frankie Banali

RATT

"Thank god that someone has finally started to see the history and value of the huge 1980’s metal movement in the Rocklahoma festival. We, all of us, bands and fans alike, knew how huge it was and still is. It takes more than a bunch of c#%ts trying to take the glory from all us metal heads, our time in history, by knocking down with joke catch phrases like ‘hair bands’. ‘80s f#%king ruled and still do motherf#%kers!"
- Bobby Blotzer

POISON

"Rocklahoma was special to me because it was my son’s first multi day and act festival. He was only a few months old at the time but he was aware of the excitement of the festival as he was holding court backstage."
Cheers Rocklahoma and God Bless - C.C. DeVille

36 INCHES

"Over the past 15 to 20 years, the members of 36 Inches had in some way opened up, partied with, or jammed with almost every major band on the RockFeverFest bill, so we all considered it an honor to get picked to play! I think for us the highlight of the weekend was when Joe Lesté jumped up on stage with us and sang a whole set in the beer-tent, including a Beautiful Creatures song. We brought the tent down!!"
- Kyle Lunsford

DOWN FOR FIVE

"Rocklahoma was a once in a lifetime experience and we were privileged to be part of this amazing and historic event. We’ll never forget it!"
- Down For Five

BANG TANGO

"This was a long time coming, it was like a giant family reunion. If there was a ozz fest back in 1989 this is what it would have been like, cold beer, hot women, and real rock-n-roll. The people that put this shindig on hit a big vein with all these great fans of ours."
- Joe Lesté

FASTER PUSSYCAT

"I was fortunate enough to get to play all four days, and had a blast. Everyday was a new adventure."
- Chad Stewart

BULLETBOYS

"It was really, really an amazing experience. Because of all the love out there. I could feel the love of every individual. It was just wonderful. I’m very happy that our band and our organization could be a part of this special event."
-Marq Torien

CHIP Z’NUFF

"Oklahoma is 100 years old. A lot of history here. When people think Oklahoma, they think country, but there is a lot of rock ‘n’ roll here. I’m grateful to be a part of rock ‘n’ roll history...This is like an 80s Lollapalooza for the 21st century."
- Chip Z’nuff

FIREHOUSE

"From start to finish, Rocklahoma 2007 was, without a doubt, the best gig we have played in YEARS. The entire staff was top shelf and the fans were amazing. I can't imagine a better organized event. All of the bands had a great time hanging out together all day. Everyone came together for a great concert experience that I am extremely proud to have been a part of. I can't wait for the next Rocklahoma."
- Bill Leverty

WARRANT

"Finally, someone hiked their balls up and promoted the rock festival ‘80s metal fans from all over the world wanted . . . and I salute you! I am very stoked to be a part of that historic weekend of music and parties. Long Live Rock!"
- Erik Turner

SKID ROW

"Rocklahoma was history making. It was our generation’s Woodstock."
-Rachel Bolan – bassist
"I hope Rocklahoma was a pivotal turning point for the state of future live rock shows in United States."
- Dave Gara

WINGER

- Kip Winger

DOKKEN

"Rocklahoma is proof that rock from the ‘80s is alive and well. It was a great experience to have been a part of. Rock on..."
- Jon Levin

VINCE NEIL

"Living proof that good time rock-n-roll is very much alive and strongly breathing...in the heart of good ole’ America."
-Jeff Blando
"Rocklahoma was the most invigorating experience in a decade."
- Dana Strum

SOULRIDER

"Taking the main stage on Sunday morning at 9:30 am was. . . surreal. Way too early to rise after raisin’ hell with Vince Neil the previous night; we got up, got dressed and prepared to raise the dead on one of the most honorable stages in the world that weekend in rock n roll. Dawning the main stage at Rocklahoma 2007 was indeed an honor of the highest order whether it was playing to 40 early morning risers or 20 thousand screaming headbangers."
"We had a LOT of fun rockin’ out with the best of them, interacting and getting to know the attendees of Rocklahoma 2007 like family"
- Soulrider

PEDAL POINT

"Being an unsigned band getting to play on the same stage as our heroes and being a part of music history was something we as musicians are very proud of."
"Everyone we met who attended Rocklahoma whether it was fans or fellow musicians knew it was something more than just a music festival."
- Pedal Point

RHINOBUCKET

"Great Festival! The best bands, excellent crowd, here’s to the next."
- Simon Wright
"I had a great time seeing with my very own eyes that hard rock is alive and well! Everyone I met was cool even though the weather was way too hot. Thank God for cold beer!"
- Georg Dolivo

BRITNEY FOX

"If you would have told me, in 1987, that I would be playing at a festival in 2007 of this size I would have politely told you were nuts. Life is one strange motherfu#%ker."
- Billy Childs

STEELHEART

"Good 2B Alive"
-Miljenko Matijevic
"Rocklahoma 2007 was an amazing event to me for several reasons. First off the band roster was killer, it was great seeing all those old rock bands that we all grew up with putting on a big concert together, plus the fact that I have friends in most of those bands that I had not seen in a while, backstage was like a big family reunion. Another thing that blew me away was the crowd. I have been playing festivals all through Europe for years, and over there the fans really appreciate the event, where as over here in the USA most people go to the show just to go. But the ROCKLAHOMA crowd was there for only one reason, to celebrate Rock-N-Roll, because that’s what real fans of music do. What made the event even more special to me was the fact that it was kind of my home coming. I grew up in Oklahoma and lived there most of my life, but I had not played a show in Oklahoma since 1995, so when I got on stage that day, it was a great welcome home. I’ve played lots of festivals bigger and smaller than ROCKLAHOMA, but I’ll tell you what, the over all vibe that I experienced at that festival, I will never forget. I am proud to have been part of ROCKLAHOMA 2007."
- ‘REV’ Jones - bassist for Steelheart

LA GUNS

"Rocklahoma was a win/win for everyone!!!"
- Tracii Guns

GREAT WHITE

"It had the feel of being an ‘80s Woodstock."
"It was like old home week, seeing other brothers we’ve played with over the years."
- Michael Lardie

JACKYL

"Thirty-thousand plus carnivorous rock and rollers making a 114 degree day even hotter at the first annual Jackylahoma, we seized the moment and basted in it. This will be an annual pilgrimage to celebrate that rock is still alive. Rock me roll me Jackyl me off."
- Jesse James Dupree

QUEENSRYCHE

"Hopefully Rocklahoma will influence some other big festivals because they attract huge amounts of people that need to support live music."
- Michael Wilton

TWISTED SISTER

"Yes oh Yes! RocklaF#%kinghoma. It was so cool to be part of such a great event. People from 53 countries and all 50 states united in the name of 80s ROCK!! in the good old USA. This was probably the closest thing to world peace I’ve ever seen. It was done extremely well and ran great. I love doing all the European festivals because there is always such a great vibe and they work so well and run so smoothly. It’s about time a promoter has the balls to do an event like this in America and see it work so well. I’m glad Kevin DuBrow was a part of this event before his unfortunate passing. He was a good friend to us all and will be missed very much. We are all very fortunate because we get to live on through our music forever. Lets do it all again in 2008. Long live Rock-n-Roll! Peace!"
- Eddie Ojeda
"Rocklahoma was a great festival... When I first got the call to book my bands on the festival I was like how are they going to pull this one off! Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised by the turn of events! It was a great event and looking forward to many more!’
